Google Earth View of Himalayas
This screen capture from Google Earth shows the peak Nanda Devi and the Tibetan Plateau beyond. Nanda Devi is the highest peak entirely within India. Until 1808 it was believed to be the tallest mountain on earth. It's about 36 miles (as the crow flies!) from the Himalaya Public School. Click for a larger image.
